Seagull is Led Headphones first album. It is an introspective work
with a somewhat somber but defiant mood. Popular tracks: “The Vision”,
“Energy”, “Out of Control”, and “Sad Trees of March”.
See the video for “Energy” on YouTube.
Gumball is a collection of B-sides and oddities recorded along side
the Seagull album. It’s a fun but strange compilation, which sounds a bit
rougher and more punkish than Seagull. It includes two rap songs as well.
Popular tracks: “Rap Rap Off” and “Choosing Machine”.
Eagle is another introspective album about questioning norms and
escaping from society. It is about renewal and positivity. Drew plays
saxophone on the song “John Wayne”. Popular tracks: “Mumbles”,
“Past Actions”, “Time’s an Axe”, and “So I Won”.
Another compilation of oddities, Jawbreaker could be thought of as
Gumball Part II. Key track: “Stop Perfect”
Falcon is a fun and biting album about being in an intimate
relationship. The album includes the original version of “Cold Fire” along
with “Down Down Up Up”, “Bright Footprints”, “Crushed”, and “Here 4 U,
Baby”.
Unreleased, July 7th, aka The July Project, was written in a three-day,
around-the-clock period and is centered on the end of times. Additional
tracks that “felt like they belonged” on July 7th were added later.
The album is about friendship, retreat, and choosing between freedom and
security. Key tracks: “Truth”, “Befriending the Beast”, “3 PM”, and
“Can I Speak Now?”
The Universe is a collection of Sci-Fi influenced tracks that were
developed separately but seemed to fit together. “Choosing Machine”
makes its second appearance and the original version of “Supernova”
is a key track. Other popular tracks include “Cloud Hopping” and “Don’t
Touch the Computer”. See videos for “Supernova” and
“Cloud Hopping” on YouTube.
The Universe is available at Amazon.com.

Cottonhead is an unreleased album that mixes a MGMT experimental
style with late 80s alternative folk rock. It is definably headphone music and
shifts gears at whim. Key track: “Monster Cage”. See the videos for the
title track “Cottonhead” and “So Happy Now” on YouTube.
Lion, as the name suggests, was written with a sense of power and
force. It is relational and, although heavy on distortion pedals, has a wild
west theme that runs through it. It is fun and deep and with a little buzz.
Lion is probably the best Led Headphones album start-to-finish. Key tracks:
“Lions at the Gate”, “Held over a Barrel”, and “Fall into the Flow”.
See videos for “Stuck in Nowhere”, “Sunset Sunrise”, and “Lazy Crazy”
on YouTube.
Led Headphones revisits some old songs and re-records some
not-so-old songs. It is an energetic and positive album including acoustic
re-workings of “Supernova” and “Cold Fire”. Key track: “True to You”.
See the video for “I Feel Low” and “Cold Fire (acoustic)” on YouTube.
Windswept, Arizona is in progress. It continues the dry western
feeling of Lion and so far keeps the punky edginess of Lion as well. Key
tracks include: “Slip and then Slide” and “Keep Your Crazy to Yourself”.
See the video for “Vandals” on YouTube.
Winter Songs is also in progress. The album is turning into a thought-
ful, reflective album featuring the heartfelt “Sink In”.
